TAILORED ONLINE SHOP CONCEPT FOR FLOYD
The idea for FLOYD Travel Cases on Wheels was born in 2018 and the innovative lifestyle product was market-ready in early 2019. How can we authentically capture the spirit of Venice Beach skateboarding culture, so closely associated with FLOYD, in digital communication? With a tailored online shop concept that feels less like a classic shop and more like an emotional presentation of the story behind FLOYD as brand and its products.

COOL. SMOOTH. COLORFUL.
In close collaboration with photographer Stefan Bogner, who visually staged the brand and suitcase, we were able to realise a unique eCommerce storytelling concept. A consistent brand and product story, combined with a clean design and simple, smooth user guidance. With Shopify, we found the perfect eCommerce platform to fulfil this requirement without a large budget and secure a niche for FLOYD as a start-up in a hotly contested competitive environment.

FLOYD floydifies, conveys a lifestyle - we experienced this ourselves during our time together on the project.
From the outset, netzeffekt was involved as a consultant between product development, branding and marketing/sales in order to make this feeling digitally tangible. In close coordination with logistics partners in the areas of payment, shipping/returns and merchandise management, we were also able to implement a smooth checkout process.
